Divine Saviour forms every student in the Servite charism of Family Spirit, Service, and Following the Example of Mary. Every extracurricular activity exists to support this formative experience, and the school has created a program to not only form students but parents as well in this Spirit.
parent formation nights
Every month the Formation Team hosts evenings of formation for parents so they can grow in their understanding of how to form their children to be part of a family of young men and women of service who follow the example of Mary.
Every student at Divine Saviour School is sorted into a Priory. Each priory is led by an 8th grade prefect who leads the priory in formation activities under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Priories also attend weekly Mass together every Friday. The priories are named for famous Servite Saints:
Once a month the priories gather for Mass, schoolwide formation, a meal, and games. The topics for formation vary from month to month, and the priory days serve as opportunities for students to build the family spirit that the Servites are known for.
